The Town of Perfect Order(完全な秩序の町)
English:
Once upon a time, there was a small town called Orderburg. The mayor of Orderburg was a man named Mr. Control. He believed that a perfect town needed perfect rules.
Every morning, all citizens had to wake up at exactly 6:00 a.m. They had to wear the same gray uniform. They could only eat food approved by Mr. Control. Books were checked. Music was chosen by the government. Even smiling too much was seen as suspicious.
The town was run in a completely totalitarian way. Mr. Control said, "If everyone does the same thing, no one will ever be unhappy!" But the people were already deeply unhappy.
One day, a young girl named Lily secretly planted a small flower in her backyard. It was red — a color not approved by Mr. Control. When he saw it, he was furious.
But the other people in town saw the flower too. And for the first time in years, they smiled — a real smile, not a forced one.
The next morning, flowers of every color appeared in every yard in Orderburg. No totalitarian rule, no matter how strict, could stop people from loving beauty and freedom.
Mr. Control stared at the colorful town and finally understood: you can control what people do, but you can never control what they feel.
