Windowsバージョンごとの hosts ファイルの場所

hosts ファイルの場所は Windows バージョンごとに違っていてけっこう迷うのでまとめておく。

Windows 95，Windows 98, Windows Me

システムディレクトリ\HOSTS

Windows NT, Windows 2000

システムディレクトリ\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS

Windows XP

c:\windowsXP\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows8

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Windows7 で hostsファイルが保存できない場合

Windows7 で hosts が保存できない場合は以下のような対処法がある。

• メモ帳を右クリックして管理者権限で実行して hosts を編集する
• hosts ファイル自体を右クリックしてプロパティを開き、セキュリティタブで変更書き込み権限を付与する(要管理者権限)

Windows 10

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

保存するには管理者権限が必要。
